Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Frank Peters moved to Chicago, Illinois in late 1984 working as a staff trainee with NECA. At this same time, the Chicago and Cook County Chapter NECA was looking for an assistant manager. Frank applied for the position and was hired by the Chicago Chapter in July 1985.
Over the last 31 years Frank has held a variety of job titles and responsibilities with the Chicago Chapter NECA including assistant manager, apprentice trustee, LMCC trustee, associate trustee for pension, health and welfare, and annuity, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice President.
In February 2017, Frank transitioned to his current role serving as Director of Organizational Development for the National Electrical Contractors Association, with the responsibility of working on special projects.
Frank enjoys all things outdoors and he has never been on a golf course that he didn’t want to be on. He enjoys running, working with technology, and generally making things work.
Frank and his wife Tina reside in Elgin Illinois.
