Bio

Debra started her career with the Arizona Chapter NECA on August 1, 2001 as the chapter manager.  In 2012, she became the manager of the Oregon Pacific Cascade Chapter in Springfield, Oregon and then returned to Arizona on September 1, 2014.  During her tenure, she has served on health, pension and JATC trust funds.

Prior to coming to NECA, Debra served as the executive director of the Arizona Automotive Trade Organization, representing service stations, repair shops and convenience stores. During her tenure with AzAUTO, she became am effective lobbyist in Arizona.

In 1986, Debra received her Bachelor of Science Degree - WALTER CRONKITE SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM AND TELECOMMUNICATION, ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY, in Sports Broadcasting.

2022 Appointed by Arizona Governor Ducey to the Workforce Arizona Council

2020 Leader of the Year in Public Policy by Arizona Capitol Times

2020 Appointed to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging taskforce at the National Electrical Contractors Association

2006 Executive of the Year, Arizona Society of Association Executives, the highest honor for an association executive

Arizona Society of Association Executives – President 2002, Board of Directors 1999-2003, co-chairman special events 2000-2004 and 2014-2018 including the Holiday Party, largest fundraiser for the association, 2005 chairman for community advocacy
